SCHOLARSHIPS
The Brigadier Donald B. Wagner Perpetual Scholarship Fund (501(3)c Organization) was Founded in 1982. The program provides annual grants to qualifying children of past and present MSC officers.
Background
The Brigadier General Donald B. Wagner Perpetual Scholarship Fund was chartered in Texas in 1982, as a 501 (3) c corporation in honor of the general’s contributions and support MSCA Members. He was the first Air Force Medical Service Corps Officer to achieve general officer (or flag) rank. The mission is to provide scholarship grants to children and grandchildren of United States Air Force Medical Service Corps officers (Active, Reserve, Air National Guard, Retired) and members in good standing who are enrolled in graduate or undergraduate programs in health care management or related fields of study at an accredited institution of higher learning.
Oversight
The Board of Directors is committed to continuing to increase the impact of the Wagner Scholarship Fund as we strive to positively influence the Medical Service Corps family for generations to come.
Benefits
In 2021 alone, the Fund awarded ten (10) scholarship grants; the most in the Fund’s history! And with your support, the Fund will be able to do even more good for more MSC children and grandchildren in the future.By making a tax-deductible donation to the Fund, you will be taking an active role in not only increasing our capacity to assist our students, but in continuing to build the legacy of excellence represented by the Fund.
Annual Call for Applications
